The Friendship Trampoline
Definition - Noun - a person everyone steps on, who in turn continues to bounce them back up when they fall.
Everyone has one
....but not everyone is one.
Remember, people! Reciprocity is a two way street!

Cellphones Are The Work Of The Devil!
Reasons I Hate Everyone Elses Cellphones (.....And Sometimes My Own)
1. People on the subway/bus/street corner/street car/ etctera talking loudly on their hell spawn devices.
No one cares...take care of your boring life in the privacy of your home.
2. Your always available....
AKA you can run but you can never truly hide.
3. Friends texting when your trying to talk to them.
'Nough said.
4. Pocket calling your upstairs neighbour.....and your friends....and your family....
and somehow adding them all to speed dial so you can do it more often. This can also be applied to cellphone cameras and the pictures of inside your bag. This is where self cellphone hatred starts.
5. They break easily and are expensive to replace.
I went through fourish last year (dropped, microwaved, drowned, and am currently on lucky number four (fingers crossed!) ) and had to use my student loan to replace them ....

Yogathon For Schizophrenia 5/03/2011
![]() |
| My friend on the balcony of Berkley Church where the event was held. |
Keep your face always toward the sunshine - and shadows will fall behind you.
Walt Whitman
Six hours of yoga was fun, but very painful by the end. We ended up raising over $30,000. for Schizophrenia Ontario. Ahhhhhhhh I can now rake in the good karma, yes?

Do Bad Things Really Happen In Threes?
| Exhibit A |
| Exhibit C |
My friend and I have this on going joke....it seems I (unintentionally) cause bad things to happen to her car. However, as of last week, I do believe the curse has been lifted.
It all started with us making a day trip to the Danforth (mostly for the little honey balls at Athens Pastries) one day. She parked outside a clay shop and a hour later we realised her car had been towed.....This is exhibit A. :)
Exhibit B does not have a photograph...but it happened one sunny day in a Shoppers Drug Mart parking lot. We had driven there soley for me, and upon leaving, were distracted and ended up in minor incident with another car.....both cars and all people remained fine.
Just last week, we were downtown to pick up our CMF wrist bands (if you havent, I strongly reccomend going). We were returning to the parking lot where her car was parked when we realised we were lost in the wrong lot.... a hour later.
We eventually found her car, only to find out the that the keys didn worked. The car had completely shut down in a self preservation mode, because some young hooligan had tried to break in. (Exhibit C), She tried to call CAA, the first time they were of no use and the second they managed to get her car working!
So now the curse is lifted....SHE says she wont drive me anywhere ever again...mmmmmm only time will tell!

Eye Of The Tiger.
Today my lovely roommate and I decided we needed Menchies. So we walked from Dupont/Dundas West area to Bathurst/Bloor area to fulfill the frozen yoghurt void. This was taken on the walk, in front of Christie Station.
The Tiger is wired with christmas lights, so it is probably very pretty at night.

The Alley Behind Princess Street
I spent part of reading week in Kingston, Ontario. There is a little square off the main street, and in it, not only did we find the famed Chez Piggy Restaurant, we found a sculpture of someones laundry. It is quite pretty in my humble opinion. It makes the most mundane and boring task unique.
